Create a Shopify app

Go to the Shopify Dev Dashboard and create an account if you don't have one yet.
Click Create app at the top right corner.
Name your app (e.g., "Trustify") and click Create.
Scroll down to Access > Scopes and enable read_reports
Scroll to the bottom and click Release.
In the modal, leave all fields empty and click Release.

Install the app on your store

Still on the Shopify Dev Dashboard, click Home on the left sidebar.
Click Install app at the top right corner.
Pick the Shopify store you want to connect to Trustify.
You'll be redirected to Shopify admin — click Install.

Connect to Trustify

On the Shopify Dev Dashboard, select your app and go to Settings in the left sidebar.
In the Credentials section, copy your Client ID and Client Secret.
Go to Add Store on Trustify and enter:
- Shopify domain — your store's yourstore.myshopify.com
- Client ID — from the Credentials section
- Client Secret — from the Credentials section
Click Add Store — that's it!

About security

Trustify only requests read-only access to your store reports. We cannot modify your store, access customer data, or perform any actions on your behalf. Your API credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored in an isolated, access-controlled table.
